Hello, I’m Rupal

Researcher | Physical Therapist | Mom | Mountain lover | PT, DPT, PhD

My mission is to support the growth of (all) powerful women.

With my combined experience as a physical therapist and researcher, I focus my therapeutic efforts on delivering care that is holistic and evidence based. Physical Therapy that includes the biological, psychological and social aspects of your life leads to better outcomes in the short and long terms. If you are interested in some of the research I have done in this area, check it out here.

I went to the University of Texas at Austin for both my bachelors degree and PhD. I attended the University of Miami for my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. For over a decade, I ran a pilates based physical therapy clinic in Austin where I met my husband and started my family. Read my reviews here.

My training includes the Pelvic Health Series from the American Physical Therapy Association, pilates based rehabilitation from Polestar Pilates and various manual and dry needling techniques.

Fun Fact: I was once interviewed on the NPR program, Here and Now, Iisten here.

I currently live in Durango, Colorado, fulfilling a decades long dream of playing in the mountains every chance I get. I love anything that gets my body moving: rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, yoga, and weight lifting.

I am building a women’s health platform to help women blaze a trail towards their wildest dreams, with far less bladder leaks. Want to help? Reach out, I would love to hear from you!
